On the plus side, I'm also reading Shadow Lands. A story about a girl who has to move into custody with her family after a serial killer attempts on her life. That scene in particular where he attacks her, didn't really get to me. The author began in the mind of the killer, then switched to our main character as if we couldn't have known of his intentions if we had started in her head.
I'm actually really excited to read this one. Like... really excited.

LOL *Amanda Bynes....shakes head* Shadow Lands sounds like a edge-of-your-seat kind of book. I'm going to have to check it out!

I've seen Shadow Lands on Goodreads (I think I have it in my to-read shelf). But if the killer's identity is obvious, I'm not sure I'll read it.
ReplyDeleteIt's kind of like The Lovely Bones, when we know who the bad guy is from the start and what we want is for him to get caught.
