Top Ten Tuesday: Pick my brain

TOP THINGS ON MY READING WISHLIST

Ah, Inspiration!! Lately, this school mural keeps my mind active, as I picture all the possible worlds books can take us.

Here is my wishlist of crazy things I would like to read about.

1. Cursed Superheroes

Not everyone wants to be different. How would the MC deal with superhuman powers that can create more harm than good?

2. Paranormal Activity Stories

Centered around YA.

3. Road Trips

I really need this. Winter, here in Montreal, is too long.

4. Books with tears all over them

The ones where I cry but not the characters. No one wants a whiner.

5. Break-up Stories with Karma

He/She treated the MC like crap -- they should pay.

6. Evil Sororities with a serial killer clown

There is something weird about clowns. Think about it, under all that make-up ...

What is on your wishlist?

  1. Right now I just wish some books would come out: Forever by Karen Ann Hopkins, Ignite Me by Tareh Mafi there are a couple of others I'm waiting for two and somehow titles just escaped my mind.

  2. Ooh nice list!! Ironically, the book I keep trying to query with for agents does have a road trip of sorts. Not your traditional one, but one where the young woman is kidnapped and is dragged across the states to meet the father she never knew. He's a vampire. And so is her kidnapper!

    Here's my Tuesday post

    Have a GREAT day!

    1. Totally qualifies as a road trip ;) Hopefully, she doesn't get bitten -- unless she wants to.

  3. These are great! I love number 4, I cry a lot when reading but only a few book have made me cry so hard I shed tears on the paper. And that evil sorority clown book sounds brilliant!

  4. Reading about cursed superheroes would be cool. I've only ever read about either heroes or villains. Having a mixed dynamic of hero and villain in one character would be interesting to read about. Nice list!

  5. Great list! I absolutely love the idea of a book about a cursed superhero - I would definitely be interested in reading that. Great picks :)

  6. Serial killer clowns sound good! It would be a great disguise because nobody would recognise them without the make-up.
