Introducing, Guinea Pig extraordinaire Sir. Latte

He is cuddly, insists on staying in the cage while I clean it (I know, we fight about that) and of course, he squeaks.

More pictures of Latte on my instagram. If you own a guinea pig and have diet advice please let me know as Latte is about to turn one soon and can start eating veggies.

  15. Adorable!!! I love guinea pigs. :)

Diet advice: I give my two boys a fresh veggie salad each day. No more than a cup each. They are both picky and have their own favorites/not so favorites. Two things that they agree on (and something that the local guinea pig rescue recommends) are sweet bell peppers and cilantro. I give each a couple springs of cilantro each day and about a fourth of a pepper. Caesar likes the sweet red bell peppers, but Milo prefers the green ones. Some other favorites include carrots, parsley, romaine lettuce (never give them iceberg), cucumbers with the seeds removed, and grape tomatoes with the seeds removed. You should be giving him vitamin C supplements already. If you plan on feeding him a salad each day (or veggies with plenty of vit C), you can cut out the supplement. You can find lists online with the stuff not to feed them. I'd suggest getting one of those lists then letting him try everything not on it that you're comfortable with. It's what I had to do with both of my guys to learn what they would eat and wouldn't.

Sorry I rambled so much! If you want more advice/pointers, feel free to email me! Thanks for stopping by my FF!

    2. He will definitely love it! My boys know whenever they hear the drawer of the fridge opening that it's salad time and start squeaking like crazy. :)
